Uniforms

Uniforms were a gritty yet melodic punk rock band from the East coast of Scotland. Formed in the summer of 2011, the band have current releases on Make-That-A-Take Records & Team Beard and have played over 150 shows across the UK and USA.

Formed in 2011 after an Iron Chic show in Glasgow they went on to release the “Randy Reddell” demo and played their first shows with RVIVR in Edinburgh and Red City Radio in Glasgow. They then went on to play pre-Fest 10 at Wayward Council in Gainesville, Florida. Continuing to play shows the length and breadth of the UK including benefit shows, squat parties and a hometown show with Dead To Me they wrote and recorded the “Spectacular Terry Butcher” EP. This was released in 2012 at a release party that doubled as a wake. A UK tour with Cobra Skulls (Fat Wreck) immediately followed by a three week US tour with Loaded 45 kept the momentum going.

Racking up many thousands of miles Uniforms toured relentlessly until summer 2014 when the departure of Luke Domino resulted in some lengthy downtime for the first time in their history. It wasn’t long until Chic (PMX, Joey Terrifying) took up the sticks and the machine started rolling again culminating in the release of the Pink Couch EP. However, this would prove to be their last release as Uniforms ultimately decided to call it a day in early 2015.
